War in the Pacific Admiral´s Edition

nathangun it´s worth all your cents, in a simple way you will have all the war in the pacific, with all minor nations historically accurate in all aspects, from pilots roster, army units, all assets, and it´s OOBs are all historical accurate.

But better them I talk you will see it, it´s better them say my thoughts with my poor english.

But I can say a strong point is: historical accurate with a lot of micro-managements

Weak point is it´s ruge learn curve but with all tutorial videos in youtube these days, all will be much more simple them was for me, but Im playing it from Uncommon valor times.

Aulette, are you still interested in doing this?
If so, I could start at the begining of April.

Sure! Im looking ahead to play with some one from FGM club because one full campaign Pbem pf this game is a game for a year our 2 pf turns, and will be a pleasure to play this Titan in multi player with you. Did you buy it now and are learning how stuffs work? As a scenarios for a smooth learn curve I can suggest Coral Sea to learn how manage air stuff and naval task forces and the North Iceland scenario to learn how to proceed with amphibian task forces and shore assaults.

Be advised. It's a long game and a very good turn pace is one turn per day. Im normally use 1 hours to do my turn and send, in some cases when you have a lot of action in multiple fronts more them one hour. But it's a detailed war game with huge micromanagement of all assets you have.

Yes I can see this is a beastie. An impressive beastie. I've now got my eye on Grigsby's War in the East for a future purchase!

I'm going through some videos and, as you advise, trying Coral Sea. I'll give North Iceland a go as well.

Shall we set a start date? I usually have family stuff over the Easter weekend, so anytime from 2nd April onwards.

Aulette

Ok, I think I've absorbed as much as my tiny brain can cope with - the rest I'll pick up as I go along.

Anytime you want to start I am ready. Though as said, this weekend (Friday to Monday) is probably busy for me, but I'd probably be able to get a couple of turns out.

From reading what it says about PBEM the Japanese player goes first. So which side do you want to play?

If you two are just starting out playing WiTP AE, it may be best to play a few short scenarios.

Hi guys, Bill are right to be very familiar with all supplies details in this game, player need one scenario our 2 to get hands in the right places and in right time, but don´t worry Im off from this game for more them one year maybe 2. Im still doing a lot of bullshit. Underfire We can star it asap you can let´s use our DB to change files will creat a witp folder in it. as you are learning to play it I will left to you side that´s more comfortable to you, them just choose and we begin. Also, Bill, if you are interested in a full campaing game with me, I can play any side diferent from my game with Underfire, just let he choose first.

Folder created.

No idea or thoughts on who to be so did a best of 3 die roll - odd Japan, even USA.

Result: I'm Japan. BANZAI!

From what I read, as Japan, I need to create the first file. I'll use the default settings.

001 War in the Pacific: The Full Campaign

I have time today so will get the first file out asap.

Aulette

First file was just a password so that was easy - If there are any specific gameplay options you would like changed from default let me know and I will redo the file.

Don't forget some game settings are fixed in a pbem game and cannot be changed.

Head over to www.matrixgames.com and browse the forums and use the search facility. More importantly ask questions not just browse.

Aulette I can't play a full campaign at the moment.

Nice tips Bill, but a campaing in this game is so long, that's learning it playing is a good way to learning how to do in thia game.

Underfire. Sent back my password turn to you. Them what are settings in our game. Should be great to set historical first move off. To add more challenge in our game. As we can do totally different from history our first turn. And sub ops auto is mandatory. You can take control over subs when we want. But Ai will do all rotine work.

My files will be all ways aulette added in file name, when you send back add underfire in file name

Ok Im sending in slot 10 new file waiting you. All my larger surface assets in pearl Harbor was sunk our is in shipyards around next 2 years of war. Almost all my American Pacific fleet is out of action. My carriers amd some scort vessels still in the war. We have a typical historical begin. Good luck under

Pah! Do you think I believe your soft spoken western tricks!

Surrender, and I will inspect your base and see for myself if your words are not twisted like a long bendy twisty thing.

Hey tojo rice eater, I was reinstalling my os and was without spare time for it. Can we restart with no historical 7th setember. First turn we are free to do what we want to do. Can ypu reset up campaing? It's for real now!
