When I first saw this, never having heard of the gun version and its capabilities, I thought "Not bad, not bad at all."
Although never having heard of this variant I figured it was impractical for some reason and never developed.
While ongoing experimentation led to multiple sinkings for various reasons it appears little effort was expended
to improve the gun version. Too bad. Looks cool.
