The answer is B - Cordoba, Spain
While Italy as a country leads all other countries with 60 World Heritage sites, and China is close behind with 59, Cordoba, in southern Spain, boosts the UNESCO sites topping all other cities in the world. They are the Historic Center, the Mosque-Cathedral and the Medina Azahara. Cordoba also hosts a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Event in May, the Fiesta de los Patros.

I went with Cordoba only because I though maybe Rome and Beijing were too obvious.

I really didn't know anything about it but my sister responded:

"When studying the garden stuff, The Alhambra in Granada was given a full 2 weeks bc of its Islamic influence.
That’s on my bucket list"

I had friends who lived in Alhambra.......the area outside of L.A. ;)

Now I want to go to Spain too.

I was opposite the Alhambra today, looking at it from the old Arab quarter of the Albaicín. You'd love it, I never get tired of seeing it. The sierra behind is nice and snowy right now. Would've got you a photo if I'd known.
Maybe I can dig an old one up...
