It has been some time since the release of the CMFB. Could you say how do you rate this newest game? Is there something more or is it the same game like CMBN/RT only with snow cover?

I like CMFB because it brought the winter uniforms and such to ETO. Also it has tank riders and flamethrowers like CMRT, but which CMBN and CMFI will I suppose never get back ported in. (Not sure).
I always had a fascination for the Battle of the Bulge so it is up my alley. Anxiously awaited.
The only thing missing is the Schwimmwagen!
In 3 or 4 years we'll maybe get a CMFB module with the M-26 Pershing and late war axis stuff.

BFC Steve originally said CMFB would ONLY have german army and we'd have to wait to get FJ or W-SS. I created a thread to request them to reconsider and well, can't say my thread did it, but they changed their minds. Lots of content really.

Another good investment. I just need to stop working so I actually have more time to play it.

There are quite a lot of OOB changes and new vehicle variants you don't really appreciate until you dive in and then double check with your history books and then go... "Oh yeah."

Frankly I enjoy the heck out of FB and all the CM games and I am more than happy to pay Battlefront whatever they want to charge especially if it means they will stay in business and continue to make games for many years to come. If not Battlefront than who else will? I have yet to find anything even remotely close.

$50 is what I spend to take my wife out to dinner once a month at a chain restaurant like Fatz, Olive Garden, or Red Lobster.

Hope you don't bring your laptop to dinner to get a few turns in. That would be over the top. LOL.

Still bothers me that a Mod is 50 bucks :)

Here's an idea, use the MODs you already have and make scenarios that simulate battles within the FB time frame on the western front. Like I said above, it's really well documented (plenty of topos and OOBs available free online for example). You can even get snow in FI if you have that one. There is no limit to the imagination when it comes to this hobby. With a few easy mouse clicks and a bit of research - presto - battles in the Ardennes.
Just an idea anyway.

I buy all the games but was impatient for new content so I did the CMFI Bulge mod and also the CMRT Winter Mod and the CMFI Africa mod. all for free.
And other guys did the CMRT Stalingrad mod. Lots of free stuff out there to have fun with....
