What......the........hell ?????

I installed the latest CMBN patch yesterday to get myself updated to 4.04, and it completely gooned up the unit info boxes. Some krazy mis-mash of modern and WWII, including several different nationalities.
Anybody else experience this?

Sounds like a mod that tweaks the strings file. Remove all your mods - or just Vinart's animated text mod

And I also find that the 2-Player Hotseat option for a battle is completely gooned up, you have to log in with e-mail and password and user name???? What on earth is that about???

Did you have the mods present when you installed the patch? If so then sometimes the only solution is a full reinstall of the game. That’s why it’s always recommended to remove mods prior to installing a patch.

I discovered that when I ran the 4.04 installer, for some reason the v404.brz file wound up in the wrong place. Fixed that and the game runs properly.

That’s why it’s always recommended to remove mods prior to installing a patch.

Had exact same thing happen. It’s not caused by mods (I don’t have any). I did a complete re-install. Fixed the issue.
