The word Center in English should read Centre, plus would you have a disabled parking bay outside a Forces career office, wouldn't have thought so not a good advert really

Not quite - the Americans actually do write it that way. It's confusing, but a good dictionary should give both AE and BE versions. Seems to be the case for most other words with a similar ending as well.
