I would say they were the french men and women who associated and became friends with the Germans, I know they rounded these so called traitors up....not sure if they executed them or not

I agree with the lads. Female collaborators of occupation forces been paraded down some street for public humiliation.

Execution of female collaborators was not the norm. In the Netherlands at least. They were mostly girls who dated german troops.
If they realy supported the nazis in betraying people of the resistance or jews or downed pilots etc, they were tried after the war for warcrimes. Sometimes (during the war) it was decided by the a tribunal of the local resistance group that such a traitor should be killed. They were then taken and executed by a special team.
