I'm having a few frustrating days lately, almost lost all my user history on my home PC, silly requests at work... the usual.

Just curious what FGMers drink to take the edge off after a hard days work or when things just need to get taken down a notch. For me:

Strongbow Cider (And yeah pretty much any decent cider).

Rum (Canefire is a a locally made variety, incredibly smooth)

And on a hot summers day...
Margarita (Or anything with Tequila in it. :D)

My son and I make a Stout we call Klingon Grog with high alcohol and lots of black patton malt.
The following is another recipe we will be diving into.

Version One: Warnog
3 Gallons
Yeast: Lalvin EC
4 oz Crystal malt
12 oz peated malt cracked grain
1/4 cup dried jasmine flowers [steeped] - optional
1/4 cup orange peel granules
9 whole cloves
1/4 tsp mace powder
4 lb dark LME
20 oz corn sugar
10 oz brown sugar
1.5 oz Galena Hops (1/3, 1/3, 1/3)
nutrients

Lastly Spainish Sherry love them all....more the sweet ones.

Still looking for something I don't like - except any of them to excess of course...

Since I am playing CMBFN, I have been indulging in some Calvados lately - recommend to any who haven't tried....

Tho probably best to do your turns before you have the drink...

Im a Jack Daniels fan although the new Jack Daniels Honey is waaaaay to sweet for me. Also partial to a Coors Light. Im not a big drinker most of the time.
Mix it with a little Iced Tea and you are good to go. My dad was a BIG Jack Daniels drinker. He would go to the bar and order a shot and a beer at a time. One after another. My moms was sure happy with him. Good ole' days.

Saint Arnold Amber and Spring Bock (Saint Arnold is a local brewery), Shiner, Stella, Young's Double Chocolate Stout and Margaritas.

Hendrick's is nice. I believe it has cucumbers in it which smooths out the typical gin flavor. Great starter gin for folks who have never had gin. However in the US you will pay more for the experience.
