I visited the WW2 Aviation museum today. Awesome collection of vintage aircraft. Even more amazing, they are all flight ready. They have a restoration center as well.

P-47 Thunderbolt. It was found in the same pit in New Guinea as the P-38 Lightening (pictured). As you can see, the P-38 was fully restored.

Nice collection. The Skyraider is there because it was conceived and designed during WW2? Did yeoman service during Korea and Vietnam. That's an Air Force from 'Nam version I see. This was the A-10 before there was an A-10...thanks for sharing Monk...
