Spring 2007. In the Afghan province of Helmand the Taliban have been using hit and run tactics avoiding direct confrontations with NATO forces. Because of massive presence of NATO forces the Taliban were forced to halt all operations and their forces retreated into defensive positions in and around the village of China. Now British forces are to execute Operation Volcano. The major objective of Operation Volcano is to prevent the Taliban from retreating into the mountains north of China. Take command of the British NATO force which consists of elements of the 42nd Commandos, the Royal Marines and the 59th Royal Engineers and prevent the Taliban from escaping into the mountains.
