Russian guns/artillery/self-prop arty

Is it just me or does the gunner in the Russ ATG picture two above look like a German soldier - helmet, boots, belt? As well it seems they all have different shapes of helmets and the gun itself looks German. Wondering if this is a late war picture of the turncoat elements - can't remember what they were called but Germans that had gone over to the Russian side "von Paulus" soldiers?
 
Ha ha yes it looks like a German 75mm Pak with a German defector showing the Russkis how to work it..:)
The pic must have been uncaptioned or in a foreign language but i'll try to find out.
