Byte Battle Brawl, CMFB small skirmish tourney: Now recruiting

Recruiting is now officially open for the first BYTE BATTLE BRAWL tourney of this series.

This first tourney will be played using CM: Final Blitzkrieg

Small/Tiny ME battles -- usually a reinforced platoon with some vehicles attached (tanks, StuGs, armoured cars, halftracks, Flak halftracks etc)

Battle will be short, 15 turns -- no time to faff around, you get right down to the bare knuckles fight!

EIGHT players minimum (I might join in the fun as well) -- maximum 12 players.

Three rounds -- each round every player plays two battles, Axis and Allied vs two different players. (so by end of three round, each player will have played 6 different players)

Points awarded:
Total & Major Victory: 5
Minor & Tactical Victory 3
Draw: 2
Minor & Tactical Defeat 1
Total & Major Defeat: 0

Player with most points at end of 3 round is declared champion and we move on to -- if we have equal points at top of roster, we'll play a final.

Hey @Rico I know the idea behind these byte battles is to be very fast (which I love). But I do recall the 15 min limit being a tad too short. Kinda like just throwing your units at each other, cross your fingers and hope for the best. Might be for the best to up the limit to 20 mins giving players a little more room/time for maneuvers. I remember some battles felt unfinished when time runs out.

Of course it's your call in the end, your show!
