This is Vuk (cat, meaning Wolf on Serbian) and Lora.

Very good friends :)
Lora is behaving so protective to Vuk...
As soon as she hears him meowing, she is there to check whats going on.
We also keep two ferrets, and cat is always fighting with male ferret. When she sees that she jumps to protect her cat :)
 
Wow, the last picture is very impressive. I like it. Did You retouch in a way or is it the original?

I just converted it to B&W...but, as far as i can remember (not shure) this is taken with old russian Helios lens, originally seen on Zenit cameras.
Helios is cheap and old lens, but it makes superb photos, sharp as knife...
 
This is cat nose with Helios.
100% crop from original image, no editing.

Many modern (and expensive) lenses could have trouble to do this...

Actually, i could get more magnification.
Trick is to take old lenses and put it on your regular lenses, but reversed....
IN that case magnification can be very high...i tried it with my Sigma 70-300mm, and this Helios...I could see ant eye with no problem...However depth of field in this case is to low (few millimeters if now lower) and taking pictures like that is ridiculous....
