Aye, it was, but a long tough fight.
What was your strategy?
Well, I figured I would be enveloped if the Normans could deploy their second line of infantry out to each flank so I moved fast to engage head on and keep the enemy bunched upon a smaller front where numbers didn't matter so much.
My left was overwhelmed but not before I had I rolled up the Norman left, the line of battle then swinging 90 degrees as we scrambled new battle lines with my right facing his. The foot I had left were very resilient and my remaining cavalry rolled him up from his new left. Touch and go for a while. I did get lucky early on with several Norman generals biting the dust rather prematurely.

Really tough battle... bouncing back and forth till the last couple of moves... then the numbers countered!
