"forgive me father I have sinned. I hid a Jew in my attic during WW2"

"Well thats not a sin" answered the priest

"But I made him agree to pay me 50 Reichsmarks a week."

"I admit that was not good but you did it for a good cause."

"thank you father that eases my mind but I still have one more question"

"What?"

"Do I have to tell him the war is over?"

Good day All hope you are all well. Just a little introduction into who I am, how I got into the Combat Mission titles.

Im 36 years young and live in the lovely sunny land of the United Kingdom some would refer to it as Gods Land. Im a long time player of table top miniture wargames and ww2 boardgames such as ASL, Ambush and Pattons Best to name a few This day and age its harder to find face to face opponents to play table top miniture wargames and ww2 boardgames so I have moved over to the dark side like mean of you I expect and play online which I find a great shame but their you have it thats life.

I have all the Combat Mission titles including modules and am on V3 engine and have played them for mean a year playing H2H games several times with other friends.
I have a real deep Love for military history and wargaming. My wife likes to laugh about it and refers to herself as a wargaming widow but she's very understanding with it all (lucky man).

I'm always up for a laugh and a joke and dont take winning or losing very seriously as its all only a game. Come to think of it don't take much of anything seriously in life as its to short.

I have recently recovered from PTSD which I got after leaving the Her Majasty's forces. lovely leaving present I have to say.

Thats It really not much more to say apart from Look forward to getting to now you all over the coming months and hopefully years be it on the battlefield while your handing out the beatings or chatting on the forums.

Look after yourself all.

Hello Denis,

welcome to THE FEW GOOD MEN!
Good to have you with us! :)

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H)
- as you already know. ;)

For to get involved into the PBEM H2H gaming action, please go to the gaming section and choose the category with
the game that you'd like to play (CMBS or CMBN etc.). There you'll find the postings for gaming requests
(just scroll down a little). And there you may also start your own, of course. ;)
