German invasion of the Low Countries and France is underway. The Belgian defences in the Ardennes have been breached and the remaining belgian troops are trying to retreat to the western bank of the Meuse, while the french are rushing in troops to reinforce the belgians and set up defences on the river. Chaos of the current situation has left the river crossing in Montherme vulnerable.
Mission
Our task is to capture the bridge and establish a bridgehead in the town of Montherme. This will cut off a retreat avenue from the belgians and punch a hole in the new defence line before the french have even been able to properly dig in.
There is three bridges over the Meuse, the eastern one is confirmed destroyed, the main central bridge is intact and the condition of the western one is unknown.
Enemy
Both french and belgian forces in the area are infantry units. No enemy armor should be in the area.

Motorized recon group made up of:
One Sd.Kfz. 231 armored car
Recon squad with Kübelwagen and motorcycles for transport
Two JU-87 dive bombers on call
