Still the best Zombie Apocalypse novel ever -- complete audiobook below -- listening to it 2nd time around while working -- the movie loosely based on this was a complete waste of time.

That being said, the movie is the only zombie movie the wife has ever been willing to watch (apart from Shaun of the Dead), because, well, it has Brad Pitt in it.....

Have to say, having listened to bits of the audiobook and read the book, I agree that the movie was very much a Hollywood-ised disappointment.
