Thank you very much, Eric, for the link to the widescreen mod - maybe I will use it for "Icewind Dale". 
I bought the original Baldur's Gate I and Adventures at the Sword Coast some time ago at ebay but
because of the poor graphics I never played it (only BG II + Throne of Bhaal). Now with the Enhanced Edition
there is also a zoom function and the game has the graphics standard like BG II - it's great!
Played about three hours yesterday and then my main character got killed by an evil magician and I didn't
save the game.... WAAAAAAAAHHH !!!
It's so cool - I'm very happy that this title was "overhauled". It is a lot of fun and I never played part I before.
