I've always thought I had a legendary weapon. Wait! What are we talking about again?
New battle against eight Unholds (giants). This one showcases the havoc that Unholds can cause to your formation. They can (and do) knock and throw your men around like rag dolls. They also have a ton of hitpoints, and, to add insult to injury, they regenerate. 
The one thing they can't heal from (during battle, anyway) is serious injuries. All my men have the Crippling Strikes perk, so I try to take advantage of that to inflict as many injuries on the Unholds as I can. It's all cumulative.

I am surprised that mTk and Badger are not ruminating over who has the bigger "legendary" weapon, if you know what I mean...

No need to argue. I think it is pretty clear.
Well, it's more that legendary weapons are rare, and if you have to buy them they are very expensive. Your character is specialized in the flail, as is Bootie. I have yet to run across a legendary two handed flail. Don't feel bad, old Meat Grinder is still rocking a plain vanilla 2 handed sword.
My goal is for all of my men to have legendary weapons.
Wait.....so you're not really hurt that you don't have a legendary weapon?
