We will hold Clervaux. We must their is no way out! The battle has begun. Once more between the army's of Dutch Grenadier & Ronnoc.
 
Flash radio com!!! Reports of shelling and gun fire around the Clervaux line!! Flash 109th artillery. Reports being attacked by. German troops in GI gear. to the rear of the line. Command being moved you's password's and question. US troops that seem suspicious. We also lost contact with a forward op. German commandos suspected!

These are not Americans!!!!!
 
Cool start to battle (not from your point of view, though :cool:).

(Is it just me but the body in background seems to have been carrying a basket - your troops been picking berries?)

Here is the Town of Clervaux now under siege from 3 directions.
 

convoy's of tanks and troops pore in to my line from 4 directions.
 

But we have made preparations. do to the over whelming force. Moving are way we blocked the bridges. with abandon jeeps and hafe tracks that the enemy. just had to go and shoot!
 

Move the Hell out. do to the German commando threat to my rear. Im moving my modal arty to a better spot. the commands already took out some of my officers and a hafe track in a ambush.
 

All hell opens up. my deference's around the town open fire on German positions and approaches.
 

a quad 50 opens up on German troops. mowing then down. other German troops brake into a full rout up a hill as combined mortar and quad 50. and rifle fire rain down on them.

dont no this is only the second one iv dun. and rite now im defending. do you mean a top down map showing you my plan is that watt you want ?
 

I also destroy 2 stug's along a MSR heading down to the town.
 

Here is the Map top down of the bigger battle plan. My objective for rite now is easy. just hold the town till my reinforcements arrive. I have the bridges blocked and now only one way across that's to start at the north side of town and battle house to house room to room. Up it Dutch told me I wold lose the town for shear. But at the rate hes taking loses on the south side now I'm wondering watt he thinks about that now. Or his force is so huge that it out numbers me 4 to 1. We will see i no as soon as my reinforcements arrive I will out number him.
 

As you can see the German troops are taking a hammering. hitting them with tanks. tank destroyers mortars and small arms and 30cal and 50cal gun positions.
 

But sadly my 1st major loss. after moving my esay 8 to watt I believed was a good position. sum thing shot it from behind!
