It is... but absolutely nothing I can do about. I have however downloaded everything from photobucket going back years so havent technically lost anything. Just a hassle to re-upload.

Just read in an article that Photobucket's recent account changes is being accused of extortion so maybe they will be forced to go back to earlier practice. Hope so for all the already posted pics, but I'm starting a Imgur-account in any case.

Just got hit with the Photobucket message about needing to upgrade. LOL, do they really think people are going to give them $400 every year? If it was something reasonable I might consider it. Welp, let's see how Imgur works.

I just downloaded all the images from Photobucket that I cared about into a Dropbox folder, and signed up with Imgur.

Let's see if I can get this right....
