A mother of a 16 year old son friom Virginia got a 2 year jailsentence because she bought and served alcohol on his birthday party...
Well i grew up in a province where one could buy beer in the corner store. I Bought beer at 13 years of age...told the clerk it was for my dad. Did I drink it ...yes sir...was i a fool yes sir...but I moved to Ontario where after 42 years of conservative rulle you had to be 18 to buy beer and then they changed it to 19 etc. I have never seen more problems with booze then I have here...may be i got it out of my system early... $ years for serving booze...LOL but let crooks off that steal and rape and murder...sounds like a country I don't want to live in.
I did not say such a thing at all...we have the same issues as you folks.I love Canada. Canadians are so quick to try and point out all of the faults of the United States and they think they have some kind of eutopia up there.
Who says you don't have a drug problem down there. We do have our faults down here, but lets face the fact that America is the greatest country in the Western Hemisphere and quite probably on Earth.
Beg to differ here sir...many do come to Canada through the US boarder. Once they see the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.Illegal immigrants from South Americans try and pour into America and those that make it in stop here because we are the best. I have never heard of Mexicans continuing North to the Canadian Border and sneaking in up there! They come here because of the opportunity and great personal freedom that we enjoy here.
In reality, Canada (and it's flawed quasi-socialistic system) only exists because of the good graces of the United States. If the United States chose too, we could conquer your country in a matter of weeks with minimal commitment of forces and there is nothing that you could do about it. I think it is that undeniable truth that makes some (2054172) Canadians have the inferiority complex that they have.

P.S- Take good care of Canada for us. Some day when we run low on resources, we will be coming to get yours.
First problem, you grew up in the Provinces...You guys have more issues with Alcohol, natives, and local violence in those parts than most of the upper-mid-west region of the USA.
As for what you just stated about our system, its a bit uncalled for, you guys have huge drug issues as well, numerous rapes, domestic violence disputes, and murder is still rampant. As I recall, Toronto has a great deal of homicides..and people get away with it.
Enjoy the snow.
Cabin fever is an idiomatic term for a claustrophobic reaction that takes place when a person or group is isolated and/or shut in, in a small space, with nothing to do, for an extended period (as in a simple country vacation cottage during a long rain or snow). Symptoms include restlessness, irritability, forgetfulness, laughter, and excessive sleeping, distrust of anyone they are with, and an urge to go outside even in the (less miserable) rain, snow or dark. Cabin fever can also be known as a term for a lack of sexual intercourse. The phrase is also used humorously to indicate simple boredom from being home alone.

That´s what I love about USA: There´s only one answer to whatever problem you encounter: Military might.
I guess that´s what makes USA the greatest nation in the world and why all the rest of us feels so inferior.
Not we....you.One thing we all forget is we are really one big family.
Yeah, I can live with that...LOL.We just have to look at the USA as the big loud mouth cousin. nice to have around in a fight but not at social gatherings.
