CMBN Opponent Wanted *ALL SLOTS ARE FULL - THX!*

Being 2x the defender on the same map is not so much fun for me and not really a mirror-match. Please defend with your SS. In the next game you can be
attacker with SS then, OK?

How to fix the zone bug:
Load the map into the scenario editor, re-paint the setup zones, then save the map with a new name (e.g. "Aulette-Shork-Map") as an Allied Attack map (pulldown menu in "mission parameters").

we are on tracks shock good luck

 Waaahh!!! :D :D :D

Congartulations to your victory, Marco! :) I will post the result as soon as the ladder is working again - have noticed it in an excel file.
(minor victory Aulette USA 253 : 153).

@Aulette: 2nd battle ended with a minor victory for Shorker (USA) 289 : 213 .

Your SS men were all aces...? That explains why your tank crews had been so excellent fighters and so fast in reaction with everything.
In that moment when I saw your tank crew getting back into the tank which I had not killed completely, and when I lost my two Shermans due to that
heavy mistake of mine, I thought that I'd lost the battle already... o_O Man, what a fight with that SS troops - tough guys! ;)

Thank you very much for the two exciting games, for shooting at me with brutal heavy artillery rocket steel storm (who knows what it was...?) and for your
excellent high turn rate (as always)! That was absolute Premier League again! :)

Hopefully we will do a rematch soon - but in "Market Garden" then, on a brand new fresh map. OK? :)

Hey Shok, what a fight no? With my US battle I' ve used one Rocket Batterie, with my 60mm and 81mm coy and battalion art assets as my hammer fire power Plus another Chemical mortars batterie for support and covering assault movements. In bocage maps. I found this mix of chemical mortars and cheap to purchase rockets are a good price and restriction points battle wineries in assault scenarios, like we was playing less 45 min. But rockets works better as pre planned art with time trigger very well seted for yours battle plan as it's ruge firepower as yours troops knows but good for saturation and extremely imprecise. As I used it with spotter and setting it to do a blow in last battle min, it was so dangerous and risk for enemy and own troops as you can notice in our last battle. With our tennis game with mortars I've losed my FO in last min to adjust impact point of rockets and it was devastating on me also. A lot of friendly fires. Casualties in my assault teams advancing in that last Bocage line was so high. Them rockets are very good, cheap em powerful but player need to master it our will have a bad surprise

@ Shoker another good information about smoke and chemical mortars use in cm2x is the weather effect and humidity. It's very well modeled. As my chemical cover was close to useless just disappearing in less them one min with heavy rain effect

Hi Marco, read your posts but it was a very busy monday yesterday... ;)

Yes, that were two very heavy and difficult battles!!! And the weather was difficult too. Your tactics with your US boys was very good! :D
The SS StuG was a real pain too! :D Your SS really was "elite" - I paid a very high price for entering the village. All my men were nervous, shaken or even broken.

I will experimentate with heavy artillery too in our next battles - this is very interesting and I still need a lot to learn about it - especially in regard to the eastern front
- think of the Russian Katyushas (Stalin Orgel).

But for the moment I can't await to see "Market Garden"...! :)

Hi again @ Shorker , in this SS battle was as surprise to me as was terror for yours troops when that crew sneak back and unleashed slaughter! All survivors of this won Iron Cross first class. I've noticed in my last game against SS troops what the effect of a platoon of fanatical cracks SS assaulting my British green Coy and killing every thing on spot before they can react. Some troops did a lot of shoots without killing while in first burst fanatical cracked SS got some one. Them I found a good coust restrictions per moral and experience deal with SS. SS have a relatively low cost for fanatical crack units. GG also.

I know you prefer QB, but if you are opened for large to huge 2 hours scenarios, Im looking for it. I have one giant 2 hours Anzio scenario I want play in cmgl, take a look and pick one side, But Im looking for any other I never touched before let me know. If you are interested, we can play for ladder also? Cheers

Hi mate Will send file very soon

@Bidermann : Hi Keith, our battle is going somewhat slow, isn't it? ;)

May you register to the ladder, please, so that we can record our game there?
After you've registered, I will send you a challenge which you need to "accept" then, please. ;)
Thank you!
