Quick battle status check -- as far as I know, all battles havev started ok (with some delays with GREEN 2 -- but looks resolved now)

Apologies for small map image ... @Bootie ... it seems I can't upload the larger images straight to FGM anymore -- says file too large for server to process (usually use photobucket for smaller ones, but for the odd larger map image, photobucket insists on reducing their size)

Gentlemen ... this means the fall of the capital and the collapse of the RED regime. This has set the cat among the pigeons ... next turn, all of Red's territories will be up for grabs for anyone who can attack into them ... I see a fierce series of fights as the vultures pick over the carcass.

I cannot believe you guys got dupped so badly?? You were definitely one to watch on the Orange teams radar. Thankfully you guys bowed out without too much trouble.

Can we get a little more explanation for how this works? What if 2 different teams try to take the same territory? What happens to the loser of that battle? Does he lose 2 territories?

You'll fight a Meeting Engagement battle for the territory ... winner gets the territory, that's all. (and a bonus point for the victory)

If the land grab is uncontested, the winner gets the production points for the new territory from next turn.
