Considering a Gathering

I was thinking about having a gathering of any FGM members who are interested, It would be in the summer and we could have it over a couple days at my place (I have a nice pool and I can cook like a big dog) have ports on network and can set it up for IP games or H2H (I have at least two machines that can do the CM products, maybe three by summer) and if you have a laptop or something we can get that going too.... I have noticed that a lot of you are within a few hour drive of Spartanburg SC... just tossing this out there... I would supply all the food, booze, etc and can setup breakfast, lunch, dinner, on both days... and there are many afforable places to stay within a couple miles of my home... Families would be welcome...
 
I'm game, but be advised, I have a Service Dog and go nowhere without her. Nort & mTk didn't seem to mind her much...
 
I am game even from up here in the Great White North....but due to techical difficaultes I am not allowed until I get a passport and and new birth certificate from Quebec...damn frenchmen. Then if DHS allows me in the USA after all my railings about the good old USA we will see. LOL

Free food and booze that is music to my ears and Booze to most Canadians....LOL
 
Just ran a mapquest search and your about 11 1/2 hrs from me...
I would not be adverse to picking someone up along the way either...
I have a whiz bang laptop and never leave home without it either...
 
I talked about that long time ago :)
I suggest France, Normandy, beginning of June.
 
I would really really love to but I did some math and I'm about 6906 kilometers away and there is a big pond lying in between
 
I would come if a few private issues could be managed and You all had no problem with a bad- or better said almost no english speaking german. What is "a couple days" for You? Exact two days? I´d like to know that only to have an opportunity to plan - because I would try to combine that with another journey I want to do since a longer while.

That's a great idea. I have been talking about that with my wife also. Count me in. I could do a long weekend. It could be like a mini CM conference/ tourney
 
If I fly in from Oregon, what City should I fly too.
And how far is that SC airport from your home, Fred?
I'm thinking about it, no promises.

Greenville Spartanburg Airport is 7 miles
Charlotte NC is about 65-75 miles
Atlanta GA is about 175 miles

Not a problem with the Service Dog as long as it doesn't eat my 5 cats... lol
 
OK.... My wife is actually excited about this tooo.... I have picked the Dates August 17,18,19 (Fri-Sun) ....
 
And movies! I want to see you dance while you are all drunk :)
