Cool WW2 strategy mega campaign map

This comes from a new mega strategy board game called Hitler's Reich -- (very stylised and simplified with some fascinating rules concepts -- from what I understand, it's card driven and is set on eve of launch Barbarossa) ... kinda makes me wish we had CM RS go back to Barbarossa 1941/42... and include Russian winter ... anybody remember the old CM1 Domination Europa campaigns?

Interesting. The box cover says 1-2 hours play time, that would be a huge improvement over the multi-day games of Third Reich back in the board game era.

Avalon Hill. About wore this out as a kid playing it solo.

If I could recover just half the time I spent playing Third Reich I'd be about 20 years younger LOL. Great game. Russian Campaign was my all-time favorite.

LOL -- I still have a battered dusty copy of both of those games on a shelf somewhere -- ultimate classic, though doubt I'll ever play them again.

Actually, I think one version of the CM1 Domination Campaign maps was based on this map.... although fighting for individual hexes with QB's just took too bloody long...LOL ... even though CM 1 somehow played faster.

Yup... was good fun though just a bit hard to upkeep especially when the rules expanded.

I was actually looking at it over lunch today -- might be fun to use that first map for a simple, lightweight fun reboot of Domination -- using CMRT, CMBN and CMFI... mulling over some simple rules in my head.
