Just to say i would also be willing to help in any capacity, so long as I can also still play ;)

I am a graphics chap (as I am sure many of our people are), so have all relevant software and (hopefully) skills, so let me know...

Thanks mate. I'll keep that in mind

I volunteer as Soviet Commander - as Polish patriot I don't care which side will loose :)

Thanks mate but I believe Gereral specific also wanted the job. I'll ask him if he still wants it.

@General Specific
Do you still want the job for Russian CO?

oops sorry I haven't noticed, General Specific is first of course

Alright we have our commanders

The German army will be commanded by Feldmarshall Mad Mike

The Russian army will be commanded by Komerad Commissar General Specific

The map is also progressing very well and will be posted during the week

Hi Dutch, I'm also working on a campaign level game at the moment. Mine is based on a fictional Axis invasion of Malta, and uses CMFI. The rules I'm working on could easily be adapted for CMBN or CMRT - all that would be required would be to create a new campaign scenario. I'm sure you've got your own ideas for rules etc, but if you'd like to see what I'm working on then I'll post a copy on the forum?

I'd like to see what you're working on ... always keen to see new campaign ideas.

The first draft of the instruction manual is pretty much complete. A word of warning though, it's 6,000 words long and dare I say it relatively complex. But I wanted to have a go at creating a campaign level game which covers everything from logistics to defensive fortifications. My initial thought was lets go 'big' and if people think it's too complex it can always be cut down.

The campaign game which I'm working on requires players to download a copy of hexdraw (the free version will suffice) from www.hexdraw.com. I am yet to add instructions for use of hexdraw to the manual, and there is no index or contents page, but pretty much everything else I wanted to initially include is is in the word doc. Your feedback would be much appreciated.

I've attached a PDF version of the manual. I don't think this forum will allow me to upload a word doc, but if you''d like a copy of the word doc which you can make alterations to then PM me and I'll send a copy over.

PS Rico credit goes to you. I've been taking a lot of inspriration and ideas from your campaign game

Cool, thanks -- will have a look :)

Thanks mate but Domination is an old campaign we have run before on the FGM. So the rules are already know to older members here. I only updated and modified some rules.

@Odin

Always liked the idea of a campaign, so let me know if I can help with a field trial...

@Richtig yes I'd be very interested in getting a trial up and running. Have you had a chance to take a look at the manual uploaded? If you have and you're still interested let me know and we'll look into getting one started.

I have downloaded it and will give it a look later - come back to you soon...

It looks like a labour of love, much effort methinks, well done...

If you need (more) players to run a trial, I'm willing to take part and / or help support it if I can ...

Will also have a look at the manual if that's OK?

@PhilM Sure thing take a look. It may well be that the campaign is too much for just 2 players to take on. With just 2 players playing each other I think a campaign game would take a year plus to complete. So perhaps 2-3 players could form a team for each side to quicken things up. If anyone has any suggestions as to how a command system for this could be devised be interested to hear them.

Also you'll notice looking at the manual that the campaign is launched by an initial German airborne invasion. For a trial it might be an idea to play this part of the game out, get some feedback and make any necessary changes. From which the full seaborne invasion (where you get to play with tanks and big artillery pieces :) ), can take place.

I'll also start a new thread shortly with a few extras uploaded, so we don't take over Domination Bagration's thread.
