Yeah, I shouldn't complain, I had that one monster turn where the score swung 23 points to me 16 up and I thought some of the results favoring me were "dicey". But hey, your unit is being attacked by one cavalry unit and two warbands, just them being what, 1300 (~660/per) and you fragment one warband, disrupt the other the other? Must have Superman in your unit ...LOL

I kind of like that unpredictability in FoG2. :) Sure, being in the middle of it and at the receiving end of it, is admittedly frustrating (at that moment), but it very much gives more nerve to a game so that nothing can be taken for granted.

I agree -- it just sometimes goes to bit of ridiculous extremes which can have single incidents break a battle (but then I guess this has happened in real life too)

I agree....otherwise it would feel like a math exercise. But I'll admit to not liking it at all when my General led unit double dropped in a mundane melee combat against Badger recently! :cautious::LOL:

Newest battle result in: RED's attack into PANNONIA suffers a 50% - 62% Monir Defeat.

A massive. swirling crazy battle of virtually all cavalry -- in the end my Vandals just kept their nose ahead of @HOA_KSOP 's Germanic Horse Tribe army -- great fight, sir.

The battle for LEPTIS MAGNA has reached a tipping point after some initial maneuvering and a fierce clash of infantry lines on the left and a mixed melee of chariots, infantry and cavalry on the upper right.
My Kyrenian Greeks (Blue) seem to have gained the upper hand over @mTk 's Carthaginians with his infantry line giving way.

News from the North African deserts: YELLOW Empire captures LEPTIS MAGNA with a +32% Major Victory (and earns its first GOLD) -- good game @mTk , my Greek hoplites seemed to be stronger than your Carthaghinian spearmen.

Now we just await the outcome of the battle for HELLAS (@Wellsonian vs @Nathangun ) to complete Round 2.
