Fact...The innocent Daffodil !!!!!!

All parts of the daffodil are poisonous. An extract of daffodil bulbs, when applied to open wounds, produces staggering, numbness of the whole nervous system, and paralysis of the heart. If you are trapped in a small space with a daffodil, it will give you a headache. There have been several cases of death by daffodil poisoning in which the bulbs were eaten in mistake for onions.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over here, looking through your stuff. JACK HANDY

A double up on this important topic is essential. Down here in NZ the dreaded daffie is still flowering. :suspicious:

Its kinda scary, just a couple of weeks ago the kids were helping me in the garden and I am almost certain one of the kids jokingly put one is there mouth and chomped a couple of times before spitting it out. I want to laugh but well it is scary.

Goes to show the Dutch are merchants of Death!! LOL

I think we should include all bulbs into this public service announcement. lol :scared:
