Field of Glory II: Legions Triumphant DLC is now available on Steam for $15.
Isn't that the truth!? Even for us "retired guys".
I bought the DLC and really want to take the time to get into the game a lot more, but...

Just added the two new DLC's to my Field of Glory II. Looking to take on another game with someone. Would like to try battles with the new factions (other than Romans) in order to try out their TO&Es. Anyone interested reply here.
Did you all happen to see a new DLC is coming out? It is called "Rise of Persia." Looks pretty good. Man they are really cranking out the content.

Nice posting on the Wargamer website listing this as Number 1 Ancients game - Gotta Agree. (Wow it's almost as if he thinks he knows what he's talking about) I'm as bad at this as all my wargames, but BOY is it fun. My first gaming was Ancients WRG 5th (? around 1977) edition, 15mm Mega-Game at a hobby show - 3 days of BLISS. and so a obsession/hobby is born. (Shit over 40 years ago now - Bugger he's old 
).

@Zinzan - by "MODS" do you mean subsequent DLC? I've been playing "Rise of Persia" and thoroughly enjoy it. I mean really, really enjoy it. Chariot warfare at it best . . .

Nah, I've only got the base game, I was downloading more campaigns and battles (through game launcher) and noticed that there are a few Mods available, not sure of names (youngest on PC) but recall an AI and another one that seems to upgrade units looks etc.

I've found the pages on the slitherine site, but am more interested in what people here think of them (Wow he's being nice and respectful) rather than random Joes on t'internet - don't get big headed anyone I'm working on the basis that you lot are slightly more reliable than the internet (Welcome back Zinzan) -it's not a high bar (True ).

I just picked up Rise of Persia. My FOG II suite of games is now complete!
It is a really nice DLC with respect to the new TO&Es. Having quite a battle with @Badger73 between the Judeans and the Egyptians. All the DLCs IMHO actually add different and particular TO&Es with various characteristics affecting battle. Makes it quite fun.
Agreed. Each DLC brings you a very different game, all of them excellent tabletop gaming experiences!
