Aftermath of the battle of Honkaniemi. The only battle of Winter War in which Finns used any significant amount of armour. Six Vickers 6-Ton tanks were lost.

Fanny Luukkonen (1882-1947) was the longtime leader of the Finnish Lotta Svärd, a voluntary auxiliary organisation for women. Luukkonen was awarded the Order of the German Eagle with Star on 19 May 1943. She was the only non-German woman to receive the medal.
