@Mad Mike and I have decided to "re-boot" our little campaign that keeps track of our ongoing series of "Pot Luck" random pick battles.
New-look simplified map and counters -- fewer regions and a small rules addition.
We take turns in setting up battles -- the armies and maps all "Pot Luck" -- the first army selected determines where on the map the battle is placed.
Any victory level captures the region.
If a region already under a player's control is successfully defended, an ORANGE PIP gets added for each defensive victory (which also gets added to the player's score)
Conversely, the pip(s) also get removed if the defender loses a battle in that region -- if there are no pip(s) the control flips over to the opponent.
(see sampl pic below: SPAIN has been defended twice successfully by the Yellow player, ITALY once by the Green player )

We kick off with our first battle in Germany -- @Mad Mike is the Green player, I am the Yellow player.

BATTLE 1: @Mad Mike -- German (Imperial) (1050-1154) vs @Rico -- Italian (Guelf) (1050-1154) ---
