Hi everyone, just thought I'd drop a intro thread since that seems to be the thing to do. I've signed up after discovering the mega-campaigns you are running for the CM games and I'm both amazed and impressed by the work that has gone into them.
I was in the process of attempting to put together something vaguely like the overlord campaign you guys are running but everything I've done so far is no-where near as comprehensive or well made haha, discovering this forum has been amazing.
A little about me, Aussie lad from Perth, WA. Huge interest in history and military history specifically, I'm obsessed with tac and strat games but know absolutely no one in real life that shares these interests. I discovered combat mission through a team vs team lets play or VAAR as they are called here being hosted on a different set of forums.
I've recently been hosting my own game there and it's going fairly well but it lacks the overarching strategy maps and campaign feeling you guys have managed to nail so well so I've signed up to watch and learn and peek around and ask a bunch of questions!
