I agree my friend, but as I undertand it is a mod... NOT A VERSION update.... for all the background data to be effective I am sure Battlefront would release this as X.@.X... I am sure all the gentlemen that created this thought it out so AFV would be close to the 'Modded' thing with the same balistics (comparabile)... otherwise.... what a waste of time, not into just the 'VIEW'... into the capabilities of the game and units involved.... maybe you should ask this on the BFC threads....
 
I would assume they have thought well about this.
There's little feedback so far on the BFC forums about the mod. Time will tell. It's a great effort no less.
