Hi all from China!

Medical will not return a man to battle. Basically all it does is give you a better chance that the man will not be counted as a casualty. Thus improving your score.

When crossing terrain expect the worse. Your tactics will all depend on how much time you have. Playing a PBEM match where you have 10 min left and there is only one OZ to capture will require quite different tactics than playing with lots of time on the clock.

If you have ample time to complete the mission what I found works is send scouts well ahead of your troops. Have mortars and armor waiting just in case someone opens up on your scout team. Don't rush armor up to hastily though as a smart opponent will bait you into rushing forward. Try to flank his positions while suppressing with area fire and harassing mortars / armor. Keep HT behind infantry as a Shrek team will make short work of them in the open. If the area is key to you advancing and then you might consider blowing your load on the enemy in there. If not, move around it and save your ammo for key spots. WP / smoke rounds from mortars and tanks also will cover your ass nicely and sometimes make an enemy withdrawal as they get nervous about what is coming behind it.

I know these tactics are common but unless you post SS or video of your exact situation I is hard to give specific advice.
