Just got RT and thought I would join in on this group. Good to see people are interested and having fun with these games.

I plan on playing when I have the time (PBEM?) I'm just a noob to this and have been watching YouTube for pointers and how others approach certain situations.

Would like to get started playing someone or get in some kind of tournament that I can do at my own pace.

Thanks

Hello Joe, welcome to THE FEW GOOD MEN!
Good to have you with us! :)

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H). ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet. :)

Welcome! Whereabouts in GA are you? I've lived in Atlanta, Warner Robins, and Valdosta. I also have family in Augusta.

Go Jackets!

Hi CDRSeabee! :)
Welcome "On Board", and I am sure you will have no problem meeting your goals of finding someone to do "PBEM" with or getting your "Feet Wet" with some tournament action!
You will find that the FGM is a good bunch of people and there are lots of opportunities to "Do Battle" on the PBEM and Tournament Front! Enjoy the Adventure!
Also, it would seem we have a few "Corner Stones" in Common with what appears from your "Handle" to be your "Navy CEC/Seabee" background, Riding Motorcycles from your "Avatar/Photo", and both of us being "Good Ole Boys" from the South in Georgia Land! I am sure such terms as Port Hueneme, Public Works Officer, ROICC, West Div, and Coffee Mess are familiar to you! I was an Army Corps of Engineer Officer myself and was an Exchange Officer with the Navy CEC in San Diego back in 1978. I am also a "Harley" Rider, although it appears you like Dirt Bikes! And I grew up in Columbus, GA, and attended GA Tech in Atlanta!
Anyway, I think you have found the right place to "Do Battle" on the CM Front!
And I wish you lots of success "Down along the FEBA"! Adio

Hi Rambler! :)
Well, a fellow "Ramblin Wreck" from Georgia Tech! Let's sing along!

I now see where your FGM "Handle" comes from! ;)
I was an IE '67 (Coop)! Those were the days! Were you in a Fraternity? I was in Sigma Phi Epsilon (Sig Ep)!
I noticed you are now calling home in the "Republic" of Texas! I can see you have maintained your "Deep South" disposition! Where do you live there? My daughter lives in San Antonio as well! She is now a "Texas Rose"!
Anyway, all the best in your battles on the CM Front!
Go Jackets and Beat Georgia!

Adio from the "Republic" of Dubrovnik, Croatia

Ah, the memories of singing that song with a stadium full of people. I PMed a response to you so we don't continue to hijack the thread with how awesome GT is :D.
