I have been a wargammer for over 35 years. Starting with board games and miniatures.

I loved the original CM and have played all the incarnations up to my latest acquisition Black Sea.
Although i used to play on a ladder with CM 1 I haven't found found an email opponent since.

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H). ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to

Regarding the match making: Please have a look at the forum page. Underneath the shoutbox you will find

Introductions
The Barracks
The Gaming Section / then please (for CMBS) choose/click on -> Combat Mission X 2: CMSF, CMA, CMBS & Add Ons

there you will find a lot of threads regarding PBEM matches and appointments. You may also post your own match making request, of course.
As eniced73 already said - there is a section for every CM game you'd like to play.

In case of any questions please don't hesitate to ask, soldier! ;)
 
Welcome Fenthedog - plenty of opponents across all the CM games here - as the other guys have said just choose your thread and post - you will get some games in no time.
