What size forces do you have in mind @Rico ?

Battlegroups will be usually centered around company-sized core units -- although CO's will be free to make units as small as a troop of recon armoured cars or a squad-sized infantry OP unit.

German force will be initially guilt up around a heavily reinforced panzergrenadier battalion with substantial panzer assets attached.
 
Rico, any chance of sharing the library you a using in HexDraw? Map looks great.

In this case, I only used Hexdraw for the hex grid and numbers and used that as an overlay for the map -- the rest in this case all photoshop for which I create pattern fills like the farmland background and the marshes.

The woods/forest texture is from a Hexdraw library -- f you like, I can upload my Hexdraw texture library which I used to make maps like the one for the Rico-Shorker War.
