Hi All,

As recommended by Shorker, dropping in to introduce myself.

I've been war gaming since I was 14 ... which means I have been at this for .... entirely too long ;)

Unfortunately (due to real life challenges), I've been away from the hobby for over 10 years.

I am an East Front enthusiast and am getting my gaming legs underneath me again with East Front 2 and CMBB - my old favorites.

I also am a fan of the Warhammer 40k universe and use to have a respectable Chaos Army. With a child and associated Octonauts / Autobots now taking over real estate from my old miniatures, I am playing Space Hulk on the IPAD and am looking forward to the new Slitherine 40k title which will use the Panzer Corps engine. (Playing that as well when I get a chance).

Occasionally I get an itch for the strategic side of things so am investigating Strategic Command 2 and Commander : Europe at War - have not decided which to try first.

I also like modern combat and have been playing WinSPMBT - enhanced edition from the CD.

Once I get the mechanics back in mind, I look forward to getting involved with a few games with club members.

I am originally from New York City.

Last year, I and the family successfully fled the future focal point of the Zombie Apocalypse and wound up in the Mountains to the north of the state.

Thanks for all the welcomes - I will read over the material in the links as I once again learn to use smoke and only attack IS2s from the back with Panzer IVs in EF2 ..... nose still bleeding after that one ...

Good to have you with us! :)

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H)! ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet. :)
