Very Nice! Your videos are top notch. Commentary is informative, clear, concise and objective. Very cool to see your perspective on that engagement. Your graphics and mods are so superior to what I see on my computer it's almost like watching a different game.
I had never played an "assault" QB before either and learned as you did that the attacking player gains pre-battle intel on the defending force. I thought at first you were just making it extra tough for yourself on purpose.
One minor correction I would add is I had no 105 artillery in that battle. My indirect fire support came from two on map squads of 80mm mortars and one off map 80mm mortar battery. I found my on map mortars compensated for the heavy wind much better than the off map unit did.
Thanks for making your videos. I have watched others you made and learned from them and was happy to be a part of your latest. I think other players, whether novice or veteran, will be able to pick up a lesson or two from watching your analytical AAR's. Sharing AAR's and lessons learned improves tactics for everyone, which up competition, which makes the whole thing better.
Look forward to playing you again someday. Cheers. And about the name I was not very creative when first making my forum personality. Wills works and I like it. I am not much of a "forumer" but got on this one because I wanted to play CM against live opponents and it has made the CM games much more enjoyable. If I had to do it over I would have come up with a more clever alias, which seems to be the standard.
