Me mam (died 1999 aged 76).
She had the dubious honour of being bombed by a Luftwaffe night raid in 1940 when she was 18 but she and her family survived.
"Were you scared?" I once asked her
"I don't think so" she replied,"in fact the breadbaskets looked quite pretty floating slowly down in the night sky"
('Breadbaskets' was 1940 slang for clusters of target marker flares and incendiaries)

Here's her hand holding my Luftwaffe bomber, ha ha..:)

great looking fleet you have there......1/32 scale? Except for the N Afrikan/Balkan JU-87 perhaps that's 1/48
 
I like the mottling on the 109....that's always a problem when brush painting the German stuff, but you've carried it off really well ...
