Hello all - I've been dipping my toe into Combat Mission Red thunder and thought it would be fun to join a forum with some active players! I'm pretty green (never actually played against another human!) but enthusiastic. So thanks, and hope to get involved here quickly!

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H). ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet. :)

Welcome. You only live once. Enjoy this great hobby as much as you can. After buying the game and your PC and maybe monthly internet charges, it is a low cost way to have a good time.
Jump in with both feet I say. How about I will e-mail you a dropbox invite and we can play a teeny tiny CMRT scenario H2H to get you all squared away on how this works? PBEM, H2H helper, the whole ball of wax?

Welcome @knightsabret! I'm glad you followed my suggestion in the PM I sent you at the BF forums and took a look here. I can vouch for @kohlenklau - been playing him in a series of games in CMBN and he's hell on wheels with halftracks. ;)

Talk about fast service...

We got him all set-up with GaJ's CM Helper version 1.5.
Got him dropbox and he already successfully started his very first CMRT PBEM.
First dang day. Whoo Hoo! :D

Might I suggest you check out the Red Thunder campaign that playesr here got going. I´m sure you´d like it.
