Newbie looking for a match

No, there's still no file number at the end.
The file you sent is Menofwar VS Gunner.ema.
It should look like Menofwar VS Gunner 00x.ema)
When I go in to Saved games it doesn't see the file without that number.

Also when you start you shouldn't be choosing your troops with the first file, just your password.
When you start the game after selecting the parameters you are choosing 2-Player Email under select game options?

Do you want to work it out, which is not a bad idea, or rather have me start?

idk what i am doing wrong, i found a nice map and i begin with puttin in my password and then i have to give the turn to you
does the file need to have a number?

i just tried it another time and i have put in my password and i had to give my turn to you. I did put a save number at the end this time.
Maybe it works now?

Your probably are doing this already and the mistake, maybe, is when you go to change the quick battle name and your not adding the numbers at the end.
Forgive me if you find this redundant but I'll just throw this out there.

Anyway, just to make sure, the process looks like this.

Chose the Quick Battle from the Main Menu and be sure to have the Human choose the map unless you want to have the computer do it to the parameters you set.

Choose what map you want to use.
(All QB maps are in the Quick battle Maps folder under Battlefront.)

Select the Game Options
-set to two player email and choose your Skill level

Select a Password

Save the email
At this point, and maybe this is where the problem is, you can rename the file but be sure to a space between the file name and the number, e.g. menofwar vs Gunner 001

At this point the file will be in you Outgoing email folder and you can send that to me.

If you create a Dropbox folder for it you should be able to "share" it with me and I'll get emails when a file has been added.

Are you using something called CM Helper?
You can download it here.
There is also a tutorial.
It may make things easier.

Oke i will take a look at the CM helper
The process you just described is the same i did last time, i put a save file number at the end this time.
both look the same now so i think the problem is solved

i just installed CM helper and i think i have set this up the right way
i have just shared a file with the save.

Nice.
I have the file and will do my turn in a little while.

I told a friend of mine, who is a bit of an artist, that I'm playing someone from the Netherlands and he got all excited and asked me to ask you if you heard of an artist named Marlene Dumas who is living in the Netherlands.
They both grew up in South Africa.
I told him unless you are in to art I very much doubt it but that I would ask anyway.

Good news on the H2H.
Now I only hope mine is working ;)

haha thats cool. i dont know her, but the name sounded familiar. I have got art in school so we talked about her a while back, but the name sounds really familiar

it was a fault on my end. i gave you the wrong permission, oopsie. i changed it, try if it works now.

Oh thank goodness.
I thought I screwed up....again!
No worries.
Now my H2H is giving me an error:

Something else to track down.

OK I moved 002 to the box manually.

This is some map.
Wish I had a couple of Stugs to knock on some doors. ;)

My dad was at Son and Eindhoven during market-garden.
Nothing glorious, his job was to repair and recover the gliders.

A Market-Garden tour is high on my and my brothers bucket list.
(sigh) Maybe someday post CoVid.

Wow thats pretty damn cool! I have been to the Airborne Musuem in Oosterbeek and its a really nice museum, the War Museum of Overloon is also pretty neat. i highly recommend them when you eventually get the opportunity to go on a tour

I'm just starting mine.
Give me a day to get it done.
Once I'm setup and moving I can do turns more or less quickly.

This is a Medium map with Small forces.
You must be spread a little thin. :devilish:

This is going to be tough.
Several choke points, long distances of open terrain to cross over looked by stone buildings, strong winds to make using smoke difficult, only small arms available for the attack.
Piece of cake.
:2charge:
