Time will tell is correct, hopefully in time, we can see the progress done. Screenshots never do it for me anymore since they are so deceiving. Polished imagery to "in game moments" are always bs. I just want to see how it will size up to the cmx1 engine, and our ww2 gaming needs!
Those are REAL ingame shots - there's nothing polished in it. Apart from that, how well CM:N will fare is entirely up to your expectations. AS I said before: CMx1 and CMx2 are pretty different from each other, so realistically you can't expect much in my opinion.
I have the feeling that it will be closer,in terms of gameplay, to Theatre of War than to Combat mission.
I also think that if CM:N will be a failure or a dissapointment a lot of people interested in wargaming will not look back and they ll leave them for good.
After all they ve abandoned two of the most anticipated products, CM campaigns and Hist War.
Instead they are coproducing or supporting games like PT boats?.?.?
