PBEM anyone?

If you are looking to sharpen your targeting skills, I'm your man. Just purchased the Mac version, ran through the tutorial campaign and two shortish scenarios to get a feel for things. I feel ready to be someone's punching bag now :)

I'm a long time CM:BO player, and recent CMBN, FI now that Battlefront is supporting the Macs again. Glad to see SF added.

I'd prefer a small to medium game for my first shot at PBEM in SF, and would also prefer US/UK/NATO/USMC only because I haven't yet played the Syrian side myself. But I won't quibble over it.

I have Dropbox and H2HH.

Ok, I set up a scenario and sent the dropbox link. I tried to go to the ladder but it wouldn't let me log in.

Never mind this - I see now that I have to sign up separately. Which I'm doing.
 
Hey Dave.... if you fancy another I am more than willing to take the Syrians against your infidels.... Send me an Invite as I too use Dropbox and H2HH...:D

Sent a dropbox invitiation (sorry addressed it to "Fred" based on your email :) I failed miserably at this scenario against the AI so lets see if I learned anything.

I got registered for the ladder and I can see my name on the list there.
 
Dave make sure you 'edit' the game to the correct dropbox... also if you are on the recieving end then the first turn you must copy into your 'Incoming Email folder' then edit the game in H2HH.... you can also do that for a reset... Turn off H2HH... put file in proper location i.e. incoming, dropbox... launch H2HH and then edit game.... Hope this helps
 
I think I did all that. It's set up exactly like ours but with a different dropbox folder. I did edit the game. He got the first file it sounds like but nothing has come back.
 
That's odd. Mine says 1 file waiting 23 hours. I'm going to start all over.
 
OK, just restarted and put a new first file in the folder.
 
It is probably Bootie as if he thinks it is an unfair fight he pulls the plug..... LMFAO.... :eek:... just kiddin boss man!!!! :p
 
I just sent the dropbox link again to see if that fixes it. The files are there in dropbox on the dropbox website.
