A collapse under the floor of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky early this morning (Feb. 12) claimed eight historic Corvettes, museum sources report.
Security guards reported the collapse in the Skydome portion of the building to museum personnel shortly before 6 AM this morning. Eight vehicles were reportedly lost or damaged in the sinkhole, which is said to be around 40 feet in diameter and 20 to 30 feet deep:
