Its a bit of a pain but you can remove the barbed wire in the scenerio editor and rename the file if you want to play any of the pre-made battles.

You mean removing the barbed wires? Sure, one can do that, but the question is why? It is true that there are millions of RL things in a battlefield that a game cannot model. But if the game chose to model something, it is supposed to ... well, model it ... and make it work 
Or if bf can't fix this bug, at least it can easily remove it from the game system, can't they?

I agree - but until the fix it the choices are don't use the maps or remove the wire.
