I hit a pot hole with such force a little over a week ago it blew out my brand new, run flat tire.
Fortunately, I got away w/o any wheel damage. Close call. Those new 20" rims are not issue free,
given you have rims where tires used to be.
Can only imagine what a regular tire would have been like.
It created a "rubber flap" about the size of my fist along the rim. Whew.

So expensive to put right, and it's not our thought,
Last Spring there were so many pot holes I had two blow outs.
One pot hole was so deep I thought I was hit by flak.
I looked at the dash board and waited. After a second it lit up like a Christmas tree.
Same thing, big tear or flap in the side wall.
The run flats got me home and then to the dealer for replacements with no rim damage.
Luckily the tires were still under warranty.
