Quick poll: CM Black Sea

Bought it and have tried beginning the starter scenario about three times - can be hassled to finish it. I think it will be an ok game - but obviously super brutal compared to WW2 - modern lethality being what it is.

Will try and get an H2H game in soon since I bought the damn thing - I think I would have been more excited by a 1939/40 game the equivalent of squad leaders crescendo of doom maybe with all the allied nations and early german gear.

Whats odd is I have probably played more modern combat games than ww2 - but this one just feels uncomfortable. As it probably should when the RAF are turning back Bears at Cornwall.

I agree the context is uncomfortable ... that's why going fictional battle/campaign like me and Shorker are in our Rico-Shorker War helps. :)
 
I am playing... gotta admit that the firepower compared to WWII game takes some getting used to... lots of neat little features like drones (Yes @Bootie That noise overhead spotting all your units is my drone)... :)
 
Playing and enjoying and what I especially like about the game (beside the cool looking units): There are no more "Tiger/Panther = Gamekiller" situations - now the tanks of both sides kick ass! ;) And the infantry too! LOL! :D

Playing it. Very different to WWII; very heavy fire power and the dominance of vehicles but likeing it, even thought I'm getting my arse handed to me by jby :oops:
 
Yeah, I have it and am playing it. Currently playing Dueling Shashkas as Russians and giving the Ukes a righteous beat down. Fun scenario.

It's a very polished game.

May be the Best !!
 
Playing it and very much enjoying it. Makes one really take the time and patience to give orders due to the fact that if you rush it, the consequences are enormous in terms of the casualties. The modern optics on the vehicles plus the more potent individual weapons of the squads give one pause. Don't know how people who play real time can do this.
