I know soccer/football isn't a big interest among you, but I've been doing the same thing at every World Cup. With our qualification today (nothing less than a 4-1 victory over our traditional rival, Brazil), these are the countries that will be present at next year's edition:

USA (host country)
Mexico (host country)
Canada (host country)
Iran
Japan
New Zealand
Argentina
South Korea
Uzbekistan
Jordan
Australia
Brazil

(I'll be updating this information as they join; there are 41 more spots left.)

Looks like you can buy tickets now.
I did a quick look for the venues in California, Texas and Canada and it looks like tickets start at around $2,000 to $12,000.

Of course you could get....

Ticket Packages:
.The US Venue Series allows fans to purchase tickets to every match in each of the 11 U.S. host cities.

Sample Prices:
.A full eight-game New York package, including the final, starts at $25,800, while the most luxurious option is $73,200. The Los Angeles package, featuring the USMNT's opening game, ranges from $20,300 to $35,350.

If it's difficult for you, imagine what it's like for me. I'll watch it on TV again (I mean, as usual). Although I don't think it will be in the early morning hours like it was in 2002 during the Korea/Japan competition. And on top of that, were knocked out in the first phase.o_O

Kansas City is a host city and is hosting 6 games. I was pumped until I saw the ticket prices. So, Louis, even though the stadium is roughly 16 kilometers from my house, I will be watching on TV as well. And those 2000-12000 prices are just for round 1. KC is hosting one of the quarter final games and a ticket at mid field in the lower bowl is 50 grand...or so they said on the radio...

It's always about the money.
And even more so lately.
Any young player who excels here, without hesitation, quickly wants to go abroad, preferably to Europe, where the economic difference is made.
A curious fact that I don't know if I mentioned here before: in our first World Cup win in 1978, only one of the 22 players played abroad, in Spain. The remaining 21 were from local clubs.
In our last championship win, in 2022 in Qatar, only one was from local football (and he wasn't even a starter); the remaining 21 played abroad (all, but all, in Europe).
Money is very important, without a doubt.:sneaky:
